I am Tia Parkinson, and my work is rooted in a lifelong passion for animal care and a strong academic foundation in equine and canine therapy. I am a qualified equine and canine massage therapist, dedicated to supporting comfort, performance, and overall well-being through thoughtful, evidence-based bodywork.
I hold a Level 3 Equine Management Diploma, along with a Bachelors of Science with Honours Degree in Equine Science, both studied at Bishop Burton College. I have also earned an Animal Therapy Graduate Certificate and currently completing my Master’s degree in Animal Manipulation at McTimoney College of Chiropractic. This combination of hands-on experience and advanced academic training allows me to approach each animal with a deep understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and movement.

I believe every horse and dog deserves individualised care. Each massage session is tailored to the animal’s specific needs, whether they are a performance athlete, recovering from injury, managing age-related changes, or simply in need of relaxation and maintenance. My calm, patient approach helps create a positive experience that animals can feel comfortable and confident in.
My goal is to enhance quality of life through skilled, ethical massage therapy while working collaboratively with owners, trainers, and veterinary professionals where appropriate. I am proud to offer a professional, compassionate service focused on helping animals move, perform, and feel their best.

I am proud to be in association with The International Association of Animal Therapists (IAAT).
Being associated with the International Association of Animal Therapists reflects my commitment to professionalism, ethical practice, and continued education as an equine and canine massage therapist.
